Light up aerials

can anyone tell me how to wire these up to a lambretta with 12v elec please :puzzled: (nice and simple)

I would say the simplest way would be to link them into your lighting system. I'm guessing they will be mounted at the rear of your scoot. If there are 2 wires coming out of the base of the aerial, then one would be connected to a bare metal earthing point on the frame, and the other wire connected to the wire which powers the back light. That way when you turn on your lights, the aerials light up.

Alternatively you could link them into the brake light. Either way, I would say this is the easiiest way of wiring 'em up!

Thanks for the reply Jim, was going to wire into back light but wasn't sure if would cause any problems (not knowing lambretta electrics), never thought about wiring into the brake light, gives me something to think about, are any of you going to the lambretta museum on sunday?
