Been on the Island for about a week now and sad to report the weather`s been sh*t. Rained all weekend. Let`s hope it improves for next weekend!

Steve- you've got all your big toys over there to keep you entertained, so you should be alright! Keep us posted on what's happening over there- how many scoots you see, what the weathers doing, is the green at Ryde fenced off yet (very funny Mr Lambro- had me fooled for 2 seconds!) and all the other important stuff us land- locked blokes need to know about!

I'll see you on Sunday, with the other day trippers.

(p.s. got those wing mirrors fitted on yer jet-ski yet?)

Steve, no worry if its raining, I have ordered some of those all in covers for mobility scooters for us, only problem is that we will have to cut holes for the whip aerials to go through and our helmets, will look different though

Thursday (Final) Update:

Weather slightly less sh*t, but forecast to improve from Friday, so hopefully it will be a good weekend. Just got back from Sandown, plenty of Scoots on the road already. Green definitely not fenced off!

To all arriving here tomorrow and Sunday, have a safe journey, see you on The Green.

Thanx Steve. Working down in Southampton today (Thurs) lots of keen scooterists heading towards the ferry, all lookin' good! Noticed quite a few on the roadside, having a 'panels off' moment- can't be helped, even if you've just serviced your bike, there's always a chance of something snapping off or working loose! Weather improved- it actually stopped raining for a bit!

Have a safe ride down guys, and I'll see you for a nice spot of Sunday lunch!

Fantastic Weekend!

Quick Summary:

Great time was had by all Friday night at `Gods Waiting Room` Sandown

Brilliant day Saturday riding around the Island, lovely weather, and this year Bernie managed to join us and enjoy himself without manning the camera

Sunday we were joined by the two Daves and the two Richs plus Jim, weather not so good, but a great day anyway

Special mention must go to Gerry, our resident `spannerman` who barely kept his hands clean all weekend after we suffered more than our fair share of breakdowns, or as Gary said `more breakdowns than Britney Spears`

Jim was busy with the camera so I`m sure photos will follow shortly

Great time was had by all at IOW. BMSC in great abundance and certainly make our mark. Great ride home culminating in Jim and I riding the lammies through Bristol in the early hours and getting accosted by many mini skirted, boozed up totty, was a hard job fighting them off lads but Jim and I managed somehow and kept up the image of BMSC. Look forward to seeing you at Mickey Lavins     :scooter: :scooter: :scooter:

Really enjoyed my first visit to IOW weekend. I have taken loads of photos
of the Rideout. But how the hell do I upload them onto the club forum ?
Can somebody explain please. :puzzled: :puzzled: :puzzled:
