Yep- a superb day! Riding around London in a group of scoots on a hot summer day is a fantastic way of seeing all the tourist spots. Well done to all who went, in particular big thanx goes to Gerry, our human sat nav, for once again being the top tour guide, taking us on some crazy routes, due to lots of back streets being closed- but this just added to the fun of the day!

Breakfast at the Ace Cafe was up to the usual standard, and it's always great to check out all the memorabilia from the old motorbikin' days- lots of guys in London still doing doing the old rocker bit- amazing!

When we were at the Bar Italia in Frith Street, we were joined by some of the lads from Forresters SC- a nice bunch of geezers- and they parked their scoots with ours, making an impressive line up of over twenty scoots!

Special thanx again to Steve H, who as usual, put a lot of time and effort into making the day go perfectly-well done mate- your new SX 200 looked gorgeous, with that lovely paint job twinkling in the London sunshine!

Commiserations to our buddies Des and Rich B- both wanted to go but were unable to take part due to health probs. Rich B was in Frenchay with stomach probs and Des is recovering from an op- get well soon guys- if there's anything we can do to help, please let us know. All the guys in the club send their best wishes, and we hope to see you both soon.

I'll be posting up some piccies, soon as I sort out my PC- it's got memory probs- I know how it feels!

Cheerz, Jim
