A berth for my Lambretta

Postby davetheoldmod » Wed Jun 09, 2010 11:41 pm

Does any club member have space or know of space for me to keep the SX during the summer. It would be easier for me to drive up on our rideouts and ride from Bristol as well as keeping it under cover rather than under a weather cover. Would appreciate any help as the poor bugger takes ages to get up Redhill but after speaking with Gerry, a 200 engine looks imminent during the winter. Cheers Dave :puzzled: :puzzled: :puzzled: :puzzled: :puzzled:

Dave

buy yourself an old van mate- then you can van it up for rideouts etc

In fact, consider selling the scoot and just have a van :-D

As you know steve, i normally ride lammy up to bristol before going on rideouts, however the hills like redhill make me look silly as lady cyclists go past me !! this is only until I get a 200 engine in it during the winter when I will then ride it up . Have 12 scooters in my Citroen Van but they are mobility scooters !! Ideal for some of the lads in years to come  Just need somewhere for this summer so if anyone knows please let me know as at present it has to stay outside caravan underneath a cover. :freezing:

Dave, after owning Lambrettas for as long as we have, we should be used to being passed by cyclists!

Steve Dont mind lady cyclists passing me up a hill, gives me an incentive to get more out of the engine and catch them up !! :cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:
